David Zachary Cohen has worked in various creative director roles throughout their career. David Zachary started their most recent position as Creative Design Director at BGB Group in 2021, where they are responsible for creating and maintaining visual identities, leading new business efforts, and crafting the agency's brand presence. Prior to that, they were the SVP Creative Director at PALIO from 2016 to 2018, where they guided multiple teams in producing digital and print campaigns and played a leadership role in new business pitches. David Zachary also worked as the VP Associate Creative Director at Havas Worldwide in 2014, the VP Art Supervisor at Saatchi & Saatchi Healthcare from 2007 to 2014, and the Art Supervisor at Cline Davis & Mann from 2006 to 2007. In addition, David founded and served as the Creative Director of their own boutique studio called Gravy from 2000 to 2006, specializing in creative direction and design for various industries. David Zachary began their career as the Creative Director at Disney Publishing Worldwide, where they oversaw the design and production of book jackets and covers.
David Zachary Cohen attended Boston University from 1985 to 1987, where they pursued a Bachelor of Fine Arts (B.F.A.) program in Fine/Studio Arts with a focus on Painting. Following their time at Boston University, they enrolled at Parsons School of Design - The New School from 1987 to 1991, where they earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts (B.F.A.) degree in Design and Visual Communications.
