Jeremy Groves, M.A.Sc., P.Eng. (BC, AB), is a Senior Geotechnical Engineer at BGC Engineering Inc. with over 15 years of consulting experience in geotechnical engineering focused on oil and gas pipeline and facility development across Western Canada. They completed a Master of Applied Science in Civil Engineering at the University of British Columbia, specializing in advanced soil mechanics, geotechnical earthquake engineering, and soil-pipe interaction research. At BGC, Jeremy specializes in geotechnical hazard assessments and strain-based analysis for pipelines, while also contributing as a member of BGC’s extended management team and managing the Kamloops and Kelowna offices. Prior to BGC, they worked as a Geological Engineer at Tetra Tech from 2009 to 2011.
