Keshab Sharma

Keshab Sharma, PhD, is a Senior Soil Mechanics Specialist at BGC Engineering Inc. since June 2019. Previously, Keshab served as a Geotechnical Engineer-In-Training and conducted geotechnical investigations and laboratory tests during a research assistantship at the University of Alberta from January 2014 to May 2019. Keshab also worked as a Geotechnical Engineer at Almita Piling and as an Earthquake Engineer for Save the Children International, managing seismic resilience projects in Nepal. Keshab's academic credentials include a PhD in Geotechnical Earthquake Engineering from the University of Alberta and a Master's degree in Civil Engineering from The University of Tokyo, along with a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from Tribhuvan University, Nepal. Keshab has experience in teaching soil mechanics courses at the University of Alberta and has contributed to various geotechnical projects and research throughout a diverse career.
