Brenda Cairns has extensive experience in youth support and education, currently serving as a Caseworker with the Ottawa Community Youth Diversion Program at the Boys and Girls Club of Ottawa since March 2006. This program focuses on assisting youth aged 12 to 17 in navigating conflicts with the law under the Youth Criminal Justice Act. Prior to this role, Brenda worked at the Catholic District School Board of Eastern Ontario from September 1998 to March 2006 as a Student Support Worker, collaborating with the special education team to support students and staff. Brenda holds a degree in Outdoor Recreation from Capilano University and a degree in Recreation Leadership from Mohawk College.
