Lin Tao is a Biotechnology Research Associate at BGI Genomics since September 2016, specializing in the analysis of sequencing data, writing reviews and proposals for synthetic biology research, and performing molecular and synthetic biology experiments. Notably involved in the “National Key R&D program of China,” Lin is responsible for the experimental component of the codon table compression project. Previously, from July 2012 to May 2014, Lin served as an Assistant Engineer at Guang Dong Zhong Da Environmental Technology Investment Co., Ltd., focusing on ecosystem restoration and coordinating with government officials on environmental projects. Lin holds a Master of Biotechnology from the University of Melbourne (2014-2016) and a Bachelor of Science in Ecology from Sun Yat-sen University (2008-2012).
