Keith Henry

Operations Analyst at BGI

Keith Henry has over 30 years of work experience, starting in 1991 as a U.S. Navy Fighter Pilot. Keith then held various leadership roles within the U.S. Navy, including Commanding Officer and Director positions for different units and squadrons. Some notable achievements include successfully leading deployments and detachments on multiple Aircraft Carriers, managing a home base change for a squadron, and overseeing Air and Missile Defense Operations for the U.S. Navy ships in the Western Pacific. In 2021, Keith joined Ivy Tech Community College as a Cybersecurity Workforce Development Program Student, and in 2022, they became an Operations Analyst at BGI, LLC.

Keith Henry has a solid education background in the field of aerospace and engineering. Keith attended the U.S. Naval Academy from 1987 to 1991, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering. Following that, they pursued further education at the U.S. Naval Test Pilot School in 1998-1999, specializing in Aerospace. Later, from 2000 to 2005, they enrolled at the University of Tennessee, where they obtained a Master of Science degree in Aviation Systems.

In addition to their formal education, Keith has also obtained several certifications to enhance their skill set. Keith became a Certified Associate in Python Programming through the OpenEDG Python Institute in November 2021. Keith obtained the AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in April 2022. Keith also holds the CompTIA Security+ and CompTIA A+ certifications, both from CompTIA, which they obtained in February and December 2021, respectively.
