Carlos Vera, CPA CMA, MBA has a diverse and extensive work experience in finance and accounting. Carlos currently holds the position of Vice President – Global Financial Strategy, Planning & Analysis at BGIS since October 2020. Prior to that, they served as the Sr. Director, Finance - Technology at Rogers Communications from July 2019 to October 2020. Carlos also worked as the Director, Finance - Bell Media Revenue and Credit & Collections at Bell Media from February 2018 to July 2019. Carlos spent a significant portion of their career at Bell, where they held various roles including Director, Finance - Residential Services Revenue & Revenue Assurance from May 2015 to February 2018, Director, Finance - Residential Services Expenses & Inventory from November 2012 to May 2015, Senior Manager, Finance - Video Revenue from January 2012 to November 2012, Senior Manager, Finance - Internet Revenue from June 2010 to January 2012, and Senior Manager, Finance - BBM Financial Planning & Forecasting from March 2009 to June 2010. Prior to their time at Bell, Carlos worked at Nortel Networks, where they held positions such as Finance Manager, Global FP&A Consolidations and Reporting from March 2008 to March 2009, Finance Manager, FP&A Revitalization Lead from August 2007 to February 2008, Finance Manager, Global SAP Implementation from April 2005 to August 2007, Senior Financial Analyst, Corporate Restructuring from December 2002 to April 2005, and Financial Analyst, Stock Options from April 2002 to December 2002.

Carlos Vera, CPA CMA, MBA, holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Finance from the Schulich School of Business at York University. Carlos also has an MBA with a specialization in International Strategic Management and Finance from the same institution. Additionally, Carlos holds the CPA CMA certification from the Chartered Professional Accountants of Ontario.
