Dale Rooney

Dale Rooney has over 35 years of work experience in various roles and industries. Dale began their career as an Environmental Consultant, specializing in developing Environmental Management Systems and achieving environmental regulatory approvals for manufacturing facilities. Dale then joined Ernst & Young, where they worked as a Senior Consultant to Senior Manager, leading complex organizational change programs and establishing Program Management Offices. Dale later transitioned to Capgemini, serving as the Principal for Business Process Outsourcing and overseeing consulting sales and contract management. Dale rejoined Ernst & Young as a Senior Manager in Advisory Services, leading the program to outsource IT operations for the Greater Toronto Airports Authority. Dale then became the Chief Information Officer at the Greater Toronto Airports Authority, transforming the information technology department through outsourcing and developing a technology strategy. Dale subsequently worked at Wipro BPO as a Consultant, providing guidance and executing due diligence activities for an Information Technology and Business Process outsourcing deal. Currently, Dale works at BGIS as the Associate Vice President of Client Services, responsible for managing the company's integrated facility management outsourcing contract with TD Bank.

Dale Rooney completed a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Waterloo between the years 1978 and 1982. Dale then pursued a Master of Applied Science (M.A.Sc.) degree in Mechanical Engineering from the same university, which they achieved between 1983 and 1985. In addition to their formal education, Dale Rooney obtained certifications such as the Facility Management Professional (FMP®) from IFMA in 2018 and the Masters of Corporate Real Estate from CoreNet Global in 2022.
