David Hamilton

David Hamilton, CPA, CA, is a seasoned financial professional with extensive experience in accounting and financial reporting. Currently serving as the Portfolio Financial Reporting Manager at BGIS since March 2017, David has held various managerial roles, including Accounting Reporting Manager II and Accounting Reporting Manager. Prior to BGIS, David worked at Logan Katz LLP, Chartered Professional Accountants, where responsibilities included planning and executing audit engagements, preparing financial statements, and providing accounting assistance to clients from January 2014 to February 2017. Earlier experience at the same firm involved completing compilation engagements and preparing tax returns, beginning with a co-op position in 2011. David holds an Honours Bachelor of Commerce degree in Accounting from the University of Ottawa, obtained in 2013.
