Hamad Shaikh is an experienced environmental and health safety professional with a diverse background in compliance and community relations. Currently serving as an Environmental Officer and Health, Safety and Environment Coordinator at BGIS since September 2021, Hamad previously held roles including Health and Safety Associate at Worksite Safety, and Product Safety & Compliance Coordinator at Canada Goose, where responsibilities focused on product safety guidelines and testing program management. Earlier experiences include analyzing aircraft noise compliance for the Greater Toronto Airports Authority, conducting vibration assessments as a Field Technician with OZA Group, and supporting environmental research at the Department of Foreign Affairs, Trade and Development. Hamad holds a Bachelor of Environmental Studies and a Diploma in Environmental Assessment from the University of Waterloo and is currently pursuing a Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety at Ryerson University.
