Cheng Wei

Cheng Wei is a Senior Machine Learning Engineer at BGL Corporate Solutions since June 2015, specializing in deep learning models for automating information extraction and researching machine learning methodologies for NLP and Computer Vision problems. Previously, Cheng served as the Lead Developer at BGL and founded RoboBinding, an MVVM framework for Android, while also holding lead development roles at ESCA Mobile and eBaoTech Corporation. Cheng's earlier experience includes software development at ESCA Corp Ltd and Xinocom Communication Technologies. Academically, Cheng is pursuing a Master of Science in Data Science from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Technology from Fuzhou University, alongside multiple MicroMasters and Nanodegree certifications in statistics, data science, and artificial intelligence.
