Dr Leena Deshpande

Dr Leena Deshpande has had two main work experiences. From 1985 to 1991, they worked as the Co-ordinator of the Educational Sponsorship Programme at Bharatiya Samaj Seva Kendra [BSSK]. Then, starting in 1995, they joined Bharat Forge Ltd. Pune, where they currently hold the position of Associate Vice President HR & Head CSR.

Dr Leena Deshpande has a Master of Social Work (MSW) degree in Family and Child Welfare from Savitribai Phule Pune University, which they completed from 1983 to 1985. Dr Leena also obtained a Post Graduate Diploma in Training and Development (T&D) from the same university, studying from 1995 to 1997. Dr Deshpande pursued their Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Engineering Business Management at the University of Warwick from 2008 to 2011. Dr Leena subsequently completed their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Social Sciences at Bharati Vidyapeeth, spanning from 2015 to 2021.
