Aparna Kuppuswamy

Aparna Kuppuswamy currently serves as the Chief Risk Officer at BharatPe since February 2023 and has held a similar position at SBI Card/GE Money since August 2008. With a strong background in risk management, Aparna previously worked as Director of Credit Policy at Ameriprise Financial/Ameriprise Bank FSB from August 2005 to October 2007, and as Product Risk Head at ABN AMRO Bank N.V. from March 2001 to June 2005. Prior experience also includes a role as Manager of Credit Acceptance at Bank of America from May 1996 to March 2001, and Manager of Consumer Lending at Escorts Finance Limited - India from July 1993 to June 1996. Aparna Kuppuswamy holds a Master's degree in Finance & Control from Delhi University, completed between 1991 and 1993.
