Chintan Shah

Chintan Shah, FIA, FIAI, is an experienced professional in the actuarial and financial risk management fields. Currently serving as the Head of Shareholder Reporting at Bharti AXA Life Insurance since September 2025, Chintan previously held the position of DVP - Actuarial at Kotak Life from June 2023 to September 2025, overseeing statutory valuation, with-profits management, and reinsurance. Prior experience includes roles at Tata AIA Life Insurance as Senior Manager and Manager in the Actuarial department, where responsibilities included financial risk management and shareholder reporting. Chintan’s career began at ICICI Prudential Life Insurance Company as an actuarial intern and has since included significant positions at HDFC Life and EY, focusing on actuarial analysis, MCEV review, pricing, and shareholder reporting. Chintan holds a degree in Actuarial Science from the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries and a Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics and Communications Engineering from D.J. Sanghvi College of Engineering.
