Marcia Olive has extensive experience in environmental chemistry and database management, currently serving as Program Chemist at Bhate Environmental Associates since December 2006, focusing on the removal of PFAS at various military bases including Peterson AFB and Eglin AFB. Prior roles include Database Manager and Quality Assurance Chemist at Foster Wheeler Environmental Corporation, where responsibilities included managing geophysical and ordnance data, chemical data validation, and quality control activities in compliance with USEPA guidelines. Additionally, Marcia has worked as a Geophysical Database Manager at ARM Group Inc., overseeing geophysical data acquisition and quality assessments. Marcia holds a B.S. in Chemistry from the University of Colorado Colorado Springs and has pursued graduate studies in High Altitude Physiology at the University of Colorado Kathmandu Campus.

Bhate’s roots started strong in 1991, working in the private and municipal sectors. We soon received our first DOD contract and have since worked at more than 2,000 DOD facilities in all 50 states and in 16 countries/US Territories. In the past 5 years, our expertise and our projects have expanded to vertical and horizontal construction, demolition services, and fuels/energy. And our geographic presence has grown to 10 offices worldwide.
