Aura Obando

Family Team Medical Director at Boston Health Care for the Homeless Program

Aura Obando has a diverse work experience. Aura began their career in 2002 as an Agroforestry Volunteer with Peace Corps, where they served until 2004. Aura then joined Massachusetts General Hospital in 2010 as an Internal Medicine - Pediatrics Resident and later became a Physician- Urgent Care. In 2014, they started working at Boston Health Care for the Homeless Program as the Family Team Medical Director. Additionally, they joined Harvard Medical School as an Instructor of Medicine in the same year.

Aura Obando pursued their education in a chronological order, starting in 1998 when they enrolled at Duke University. Aura completed their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Biology, General in 2002. Following this, in 2006, they attended the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine, where they earned their Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree with a specialization in Medicine in 2010.
