Gloria Batista

Gloria Batista has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Gloria started their career at Northern Manhattan Improvement Corporation where they worked as a Benefits Specialist from July 2006 to July 2008. Afterwards, they served as an Eviction Prevention Paralegal at the same organization from August 2008 to January 2009.

From 2009 to 2011, Gloria worked at HomeStart as a Bilingual Housing Advocate. Their responsibilities included conducting intakes with new referrals and assisting participants with barriers to housing.

From 2011 to 2016, Gloria worked at Pine Street Inn in various roles. Gloria served as a Case Manager from October 2011 to August 2014, where their duties included interviewing prospective tenants and assisting them in setting and meeting their goals. Gloria then became the Congregate Housing Supervisor from August 2014 to September 2015, and subsequently worked as a Housing Coordinator from September 2015 to December 2016.

In 2016, Gloria joined Riverside Community Care as a Lead Nurse. Their role on the Program of Assertive Community Treatment team involved providing intense community outreach to clients with mental illnesses, substance abuse, and medical comorbidities. Gloria was also responsible for medication packing, distribution, administration, and teaching clients safe medication administration practices. Gloria worked at Riverside Community Care until October 2017.

From November 2017 to October 2018, Gloria worked at Sunrise Senior Living as a Resident Care Director. In this position, they provided clinical care through the direct application of the nursing process, oversaw the community medication management program, and evaluated outcomes.

Currently, Gloria is working at Boston Health Care for the Homeless Program as a Clinical Site Director, a position they have held since November 2018.

Gloria Batista earned an Associate of Science degree in Registered Nursing/Registered Nurse from Bunker Hill Community College. Gloria attended the college from 2012 to 2015.
