Jenna K.

Jenna K. has a diverse work experience spanning from 2012 to the present. Jenna started their career as an Intern at the University of Rochester Medical Center's Center for Community Health, where they contributed to health initiatives and efforts such as improving neighborhood safety and increasing active transportation. In 2014, Jenna joined the Boston Children's Hospital's Brazelton Touchpoints Center as a Research Assistant, where they evaluated programs aimed at improving early childhood development and family health. Jenna collaborated with clients to create data collection and tracking systems, and also analyzed qualitative data for research findings. In 2017, Jenna joined Brigham and Women's Hospital as a Staff Nurse in the Intermediate Care Float Pool, where they provided care to patients under various services across intermediate care units. Since 2019, they have been working at the Boston Health Care for the Homeless Program as a Nurse Care Manager, focusing on clients with Opioid Use Disorder and on Suboxone treatment. Their role emphasizes safety and harm reduction measures, with a focus on recovery as defined by each person.
