Katherine Orlin

Katherine Orlin is a dedicated healthcare professional with extensive experience in nursing and research within public health and social behavior. Currently serving as a Research Consultant at Eliot Community Human Services, Katherine focuses on enhancing documentation systems and designing nursing data collection processes for temporary housing and health services for individuals experiencing homelessness. As a Graduate Research Assistant at Brigham and Women's Hospital, Katherine collaborates with the Transformational Prison Project to evaluate restorative justice programming. Additionally, Katherine has served as a Harm Reduction Nurse at Boston Health Care for the Homeless Program, providing critical care in low-threshold environments. Previous roles include research consulting for the Racial Equity In Corrections Initiative with Prisoners' Legal Services of Massachusetts, and Clinic Nurse Manager for community health initiatives at Rush University Medical Center. Katherine holds a Master of Public Health degree from Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Northeastern University.
