Leigh Conklin, CPA

Leigh Conklin, CPA has a diverse work experience that spans several notable companies. Starting in 2010, Leigh worked as a Lifeguard at both the Wartburg-Waverly Sports and Wellness Center and the Waverly Municipal Pool until 2014. In 2014, Leigh began their professional accounting journey as an Accounting Intern at AgVantage FS. The following year, they held another Accounting Intern position at Meredith Corporation from May 2015 to May 2016. Leigh then worked as an Audit Intern at Deloitte for two months in 2016.

Continuing their growth in Deloitte, Leigh became an Audit & Assurance Senior in January 2018 and served in that role until December 2020. During this time, they gained valuable experience in auditing and assurance. Subsequently, in December 2020, Leigh joined F&G as a Financial Reporting Accountant, remaining with the company until October 2022.

Most recently, Leigh has taken on the role of Sr. Technical Accountant at BHE Renewables, LLC, starting in October 2022. Leigh's extensive experience in accounting and finance positions their for success in this role.

Leigh Conklin, CPA, completed their education in a chronological order. They first attended Waverly-Shell Rock High School from 2009 to 2013, earning a high school degree. Later, they pursued their undergraduate studies at Drake University from 2013 to 2017, obtaining a Bachelor of Science and Business Administration degree in Accounting. Continuing their academic journey at the same institution, Leigh completed a Master of Accounting degree in Accounting from Drake University between 2016 and 2017. Additionally, they obtained a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification from the State of Iowa Accountancy Examining Board in January 2019.
