Benoît Claveranne

Benoît Claveranne is the current head of Transformation, Innovation & Development at BHF-Bank Aktiengesellschaft. Prior to this, they served as CEO of AXA France from 2011 to 2013, and as CEO of International & New Markets and member of the Group Management Committee at AXA from 2014 to 2021. From 2009 to 2011, they were Group Senior Vice President for European and Public Affairs at AXA. Before that, they worked as Alternate Executive Director for France at the International Monetary Fund from 2006 to 2009. Their first major role was as portfolio manager of the Caisse des dépôts et consignations (CDC) at the Direction générale du Trésor (French Treasury) from 2002 to 2006.

Benoît Claveranne's educational career consists of a Diplôme d'études approfondies (DEA) in Economics and Finance from the Ecole polytechnique - Ecole des hautes études en sciences sociales - Université Paris X, a Bachelor's degree in Economics Political Science from Sciences Po, an Agrégation d'économie et gestion in Economics and management from the École normale supérieure Paris-Saclay, a Master's degree in Economics from Université Panthéon Assas (Paris II), and a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Université Paris-Sorbonne.
