Cory Vieira

Cory Vieira has extensive work experience in finance and accounting. Cory currently serves as the Chief Accounting Officer (CAO) at BHG Financial, where they lead various departments and oversees the company's accounting operations. Prior to this, they held several roles at American Express, including Vice President positions in Global Treasury Controller, Global Merchant Services Business Controller, and M&A Controllership. During their time at American Express, they managed teams and provided financial expertise for various treasury transactions, accounting advisory, and mergers and acquisitions. Before joining American Express, Cory worked at Energy Financial Services at GE Capital as a Transaction Advisor, where they structured energy infrastructure transactions. Cory began their career at PricewaterhouseCoopers as an Audit Manager, leading financial statement audits for publicly traded companies.

Cory Vieira pursued their Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the University at Albany, SUNY, from 1996 to 2000. Following this, they furthered their education and completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on Finance from NYU Stern School of Business from 2009 to 2011.
