David Dreytser

David Dreytser has a diverse work experience in the finance industry. David currently serves as the Director of Analytics at BHG Financial since August 2021. Prior to this, they worked at Discover Financial Services for over 10 years, starting as a Financial Analyst in their Finance Leadership Program and progressing to roles such as Manager of Marketing & Financial Strategy and Senior Manager of Marketing & Financial Strategy. In these roles, they managed a large acquisition budget, spearheaded product strategy initiatives, and led pricing and profitability analysis.

Before joining Discover Financial Services, David worked at Quantitative Risk Management (QRM) for 5 years. David started as a Financial Analyst and Risk Management Consultant, assisting clients with financial analyses and modeling. David then became a Client Relationship Manager and Engagement Manager, overseeing relationships with six client banks and restructuring their risk practices through audits and education courses.

Throughout their career, David has demonstrated expertise in financial analysis, strategic planning, and risk management.

David Dreytser pursued their higher education at two reputable institutions. From 2008 to 2011, they attended The University of Chicago Booth School of Business, where they completed an MBA degree. During this program, their studies focused on various subjects including Finance, Economics, Statistics and Econometrics, as well as Entrepreneurship. Prior to their MBA, David earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree at the University of Minnesota. At this university, they specialized in Chemical Engineering and Chemistry, with a minor in Management.
