Tania Middelhof

Tania Middelhof, MBA, has extensive experience in the finance industry. Tania currently serves as the VP of Risk Management at BHI since June 2022. Prior to this role, they worked at Bank Hapoalim from September 2015 to July 2023, where they held the position of VP & Money Market Trader.

Before joining Bank Hapoalim, Tania worked at Doral Bank from April 2014 to May 2015. At Doral Bank, they were the VP of Asset Liability Management and successfully implemented a new Quantitative Risk Management platform. Tania was responsible for presenting and discussing Interest Rate Risk sensitivity results with senior management.

Additionally, Tania served as an Investment Portfolio Manager at Doral Bank from August 2008 to April 2014. In this role, they managed a $3 billion investment portfolio consisting of various financial instruments and made timely investment decisions to generate high gain margins for the company. Tania also prepared and executed investment proposals for senior management.

Prior to their time at Doral Bank, Tania worked at BBVA as an Investment Portfolio Manager from January 2005 to August 2008.

Tania Middelhof, MBA, obtained their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Finance from the University of Puerto Rico, Río Piedras, between 2000 and 2002. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) degree in Accounting from Universidad de Puerto Rico, spanning from 1995 to 1999. Additionally, Tania Middelhof holds a certification as a Certified Treasury Professional from the Association for Financial Professionals, which they obtained in July 2017.
