Caitlin Mathieson is a Mining Engineer with extensive experience in project studies and development roles. Previously, they served as Development Lead for Tailings Development at Suncor, where they collaborated with operations and technical leads to optimize mine and tailings projects. Caitlin also held the position of Mining Engineer at both Suncor and XSTRACT Mining Consultants, focusing on long-range planning, design, and regulatory submissions. Currently, Caitlin is working as a Principal Consultant at Insignia Mining and as Principal Project Studies at BHP. Caitlin holds dual degrees in Mining and Mineral Engineering as well as Finance from The University of Queensland.
