Darragh Hoban

Darragh Hoban is a Planning Engineer at BHP since May 2023, specializing in Cave Flow, and previously worked as a Short Term Planning Engineer focusing on 13 Week and Weekly Scheduling. Prior to BHP, Darragh served at OZ Minerals in a similar short-term planning role from April 2019 to May 2023. Experience also includes positions as Production Engineer and Mine Geologist with Euro Exploration Services Pty Ltd, where Darragh oversaw exploration activities at the Carrapateena Copper mine. A career break was taken for travel from November 2017 to October 2018. Earlier roles at Ramelius Resources Limited included positions as Underground Mine Geologist, Mine Geologist, and Pit Technician/Junior Geologist, in addition to a Vacation Student role in geology at Ramelius Resources and Kingsgate Consolidated Ltd. Darragh holds a Bachelor of Science in Geology/Earth Science from the University of Adelaide, earned from 2010 to 2013.
