Ebrahim Awaty

Ebrahim Awaty is a qualified professional with a double degree in Civil and Structural Engineering and Finance from the University of Adelaide, achieving a GPA of 6.2 out of 7. Ebrahim held the position of Club Treasurer for the University of Adelaide African Student Association from July 2019 to June 2021. Prior to this, Ebrahim worked as a Sales Representative at The Good Guys from July 2018 to November 2021, where exceptional customer service and sales performance were demonstrated, including achieving $3.3 million in sales and receiving the Norton Internet Security Prize in 2020. As an Undergraduate Engineer at BMD Group from February 2021 to January 2023, Ebrahim contributed to projects like the $4 million Moonta St Upgrade. Currently, Ebrahim serves as a Geotechnical Engineer at BHP, providing essential geotechnical support across multiple open-pit coal sites, focusing on hazard identification and slope stability assessments. Earlier work experience includes a role as a Fruit and Veg Assistant at Foodland Supermarkets Australia from May 2015 to May 2018.
