Katherine McKenna

Katherine McKenna is an accomplished geophysicist with extensive experience in the mining and resources sector, currently serving as Principal Geophysicist for Metals Exploration at BHP since February 2020. Prior roles include Managing Director at Taknor Resources and GPX Surveys, as well as Manager Airborne Geophysics at Fugro Airborne Surveys. Katherine began her career as a Geophysicist at Lachlan Resources and has held various technical and managerial positions since then. Katherine's educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Geology and Geophysics from Macquarie University, an MBA from Curtin University, and a GradDipAppFin from the Securities Institute of Australia. Additionally, Katherine completed the Company Directors Course at the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
