Katy Kutra

Katy Kutra is currently a Legal Counsel at BHP, a position they have held since 2024. Prior to this role, Katy worked as a Senior Lawyer and Project Officer at the Department of Environment and Science between 2015 and 2016. They began their legal career as a Paralegal at RAILS - Refugee and Immigration Legal Service in 2015 and completed internships, including one at NCBI Missoula in 2014. Katy holds multiple degrees, including a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Government and International Relations from Griffith University, as well as a Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice and a degree in American Indian/Native American Studies from The University of Montana School of Law.
