Mitch Kavney

Mitch Kavney is a mechanical engineer with over 13 years of experience in the mining industry. They are currently a Project Manager for Advanced Predictive Maintenance at BHP, where they lead the deployment and integration of AI-enabled predictive analytics globally. Previously, Mitch served as an Asset Management & Reliability Engineer at BHP and held various engineering roles within the company. Additionally, Mitch is the owner and designer at Bullet Racing Motorcycle Engineering, specializing in the design and manufacture of motorcycle components for race applications. They earned a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering with Honours from The University of Queensland.
