Mohammed Saiyaz is an experienced geologist with a diverse background in the mining and exploration sectors. Currently serving as a geologist at BHP since January 2020, Mohammed assists the technical department in implementing effective mining methodologies and delivering accurate geological models and reports. Prior to BHP, Mohammed held roles at WorkPac, Schlumberger, Goldbasin Mining (Fiji) PTE Limited, and Vatukoula Gold Mines Plc, progressing from a mudlogging geologist to senior exploration and principal exploration geologist. Educational qualifications include a Master of Applied Science in Geology and a Certificate in Advanced Techniques in Mining & Exploration Geology, both obtained from James Cook University.
