Nick Joyce

Nick Joyce is an experienced professional in corporate development and mineral economics, currently serving as Lead Principal and previously as Principal at BHP since August 2021. Joyce has also contributed to academia as a Term Adjunct Lecturer in Mineral Economics at Queen's University from September 2020 to December 2021. Prior experience includes a role as Vice President of Investment Banking at Macquarie Group from May 2016 to August 2021, and positions as an Exploration Geologist at Cameco Corporation and Archer, Cathro & Associates (1981) Limited, where involvement included significant projects like the Millennium Project and various gold projects. Joyce holds a Master of Science in Economic Geology from Queen's University and a Bachelor of Science in Geology with a Minor in Economics from The University of British Columbia.
