Sandra Menpes

Sandra Menpes is a Principal Exploration Geologist at BHP, having joined in 2023. Previously, they held the position of Senior Geologist for OZ Minerals from 2022 to 2023 and served as a Senior Staff Geologist at Santos Ltd from 2014 to 2022. Sandra's earlier experience includes roles such as Principal Geoscientist at DMITRE Energy Resources Division from 2010 to 2014, Exploration Asset Manager at Trident Energy Limited from 2008 to 2010, and Geological Consultant at Essential Petroleum Resources Limited from 2002 to 2008. Their geoscience career began at Rio Tinto, where they worked as a Project Geologist from 1989 to 1998. Sandra completed their education at Heathfield High School from 1980 to 1984.
