Shihong Tan is an accomplished technology leader with extensive experience in the mining and resources sector. Currently serving as Vice President Technology North America at BHP since March 2017, Shihong Tan is responsible for driving strategic data transformation initiatives and leading the development of technology strategies that enhance business value and operational efficiency. Previously, Shihong Tan held key roles at South32 and Deloitte Consulting, focusing on IT strategy, enterprise architecture, and digital transformation within the mining and oil & gas industries. Shihong Tan's educational background includes an MBA and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science (Hons) from The University of Western Australia.
