Bhumi
Santha Lakshmi .S is an experienced STEM Trainer at Bhumi since November 2024, responsible for delivering STEM programs in government schools and enhancing teachers' capabilities in STEM education. Previously, Santha held the position of Assistant Project Manager at A&B Labs from July 2023 to November 2024, involved in managing environmental testing projects. Earlier experience includes a role as Project Trainee at CVR Labs Private Limited, where responsibilities included managing sample testing and report generation. Santha also served as a Chemistry teacher at Janet Matriculation School, guiding students through scientific concepts and problem-solving. Initial training included a position as an Acupuncture Trainee at Mono Acupuncture. Educational qualifications include a Postgraduate Degree in Chemistry from Vel Tech Rangarajan Dr. Sagunthala R&D Institute of Science & Technology, a Master Diploma in Acupuncture from Nalam Acupuncture, and a Bachelor of Chemistry from Dwaraka Doss Goverdhan Doss Vaishnav College.

Bhumi
Bhumi is one of India’s largest independent youth volunteer non-profit organisations. Bhumi as a platform enables over 12,000 volunteers in more than 12 cities across India for causes such as education, environment, animals and community welfare. Bhumi is the recipient of the ‘Leader in Volunteer Engagement Award’ conferred by iVolunteer in 2014. Geographical Presence: Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Telangana, Maharashtra, West Bengal, Rajasthan, Chandigarh and Delhi NCR. Bhumi has two core areas of work - Education and Civic Projects Ignite: Transformational Education Ignite is Bhumi's supplementary education programme for under-privileged children. The programme is delivered during the weekends by over 2,000 trained Bhumi volunteers. Over 10,000 children are benefiting from the programme in 2015 across 12 Indian cities with the aim of providing children with quality education to enable them become responsible and productive citizens of the future. The programme consists of English, Mathematics, Science, Robotics, Computers, Dance, Arts, Sports, Mentoring and Life skills support. Catalyse: Transforming Citizenry Catalyse consists of Bhumi’s civic initiatives that engage volunteers in causes like animal welfare, community welfare, disability, environment, health etc. The programmes consisting of one-off and regular volunteering activities engage over 10,000 volunteers each year in over 15 cities across India.
