Manuel Rodríguez Velasco

Manuel Rodríguez Velasco is the current Head of Finance & Founding Team at Bia. Manuel was previously the Finance Director at BairesDev from September 2020 to April 2022. Prior to that, they were the VP - Finance at Mechero Energy from October 2014 to September 2020. Manuel started their career as an Intern Student at Genser Energy from July 2014 to October 2014.

Manuel Rodríguez Velasco has a MSc in Energy Studies with a Specialisation in Energy Finance from the University of Dundee. Manuel is also an Especialista en Regulación de Energía Eléctrica y Gas from Universidad Externado de Colombia and a Profesional en Finanzas y Relaciones Internacionales from the same school.

They are on a team with Sebastian Cajamarca - Head of Data & Founding Team, Manuel Duque Parra - Head of Growth & Founding Team, and Diego Suarez - Head of Engineering & Founding Team. Their manager is Sebastian Ruales, Co-Founder & CEO.
