Dr. Felix Heinzler serves as the Head of Development and Processing Technologies at BIA Kunststoff- und Galvanotechnik GmbH & Co. KG since August 2014, specializing in process optimization for plastics processing, electroplating, and surface technologies, along with material and process development. Additionally, Dr. Heinzler lectures on plastics technology at Fachhochschule Südwestfalen and previously lectured at ZumMeister.de focusing on online education in information, communication, and project management. Dr. Heinzler has held significant roles at the University of Duisburg-Essen, including Group Leader of the Injection Molding Division and Research Assistant, with a doctoral dissertation on adaptive process control in injection molding. Dr. Heinzler holds a Doctor of Engineering degree in Polymer Processing and Machinery from the University of Duisburg-Essen, supplemented by a Diplom in Mechanical Engineering and further education at Krauss Maffei Technologies GmbH.
