Charlie Hughes is an accomplished audio engineer with extensive experience in electroacoustics and loudspeaker systems design. Currently serving as Principal Engineer for Electroacoustics at Biamp since April 2021, Charlie previously held significant roles including Key Projects Manager at Ahnert Feistel Media Group, where advanced technical support for software products was provided. As Managing Director at Excelsior Audio Design & Services, design and measurement consulting for loudspeaker system manufacturers were key responsibilities. Prior experience includes positions as Chief Engineer at Altec Lansing and Senior Engineer at Peavey Electronics. Charlie holds a Bachelor of Science in Physics from the Georgia Institute of Technology, earned between 1983 and 1988.
