Deyan Kostov has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Deyan started their career as a Research Assistant at Central European University in 1998 and then worked as a System Administrator at the Regional Prosecutor's Office of the Ministry of Justice from 2001 to 2003. In 2005, they became an Adjunct Instructor at the American University in Bulgaria. In 2006, they started their own small IT company, ET Evropeec, which they operated until 2011.
In 2012, Deyan joined IBM Czech Republic as a System Administrator, where they remotely administered AIX and Linux servers and provided customer support to clients including GE Money Bank and Carrefour. Deyan then worked as an IT freelancer at BG from 2013 to 2015.
In 2015, Deyan joined Interoute as a Customer Support Engineer, where they administered Linux and Windows servers on virtual machines and clouds, performed backups and upgrades, and provided customer support for Interoute's cloud solution.
Currently, Deyan is working at Bianor as a Senior QA Engineer. Deyan is responsible for testing "dcTrack," a data center management software of Sunbird DCIM. Their tasks include test automation with tools like SoapUI NG Pro, Selenium, and internal tools. Deyan has worked with clients such as Verizon, Comcast, and Apple-China.
Deyan Kostov completed their Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Computer Science from the American University in Bulgaria, where they studied from 1994 to 1997. Deyan then pursued further education and obtained their Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Environmental Sciences and Policy from the Central European University, where they studied from 1997 to 1998.
