Amber Richard is the Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Melia Homes since February 2017. Amber has over two decades of experience in imaginative home design, construction, and customer care. Amber is also part of the Board of Directors at BIASC Greater Sales & Marketing Council, where Amber currently serves as the 2022 President. Prior to their current roles, Amber worked at Irvine Company as a Senior Sales Counselor & Sales Systems Trainer, Hanley Wood in Real Estate Market Research, and Prudential California Realty as a Realtor. Amber graduated from California State University-San Bernardino with a Bachelor's Degree in Human Communications.

The Greater Sales and Marketing Council (GSMC) is comprised of sales and marketing professionals in the homebuilding industry. The GSMC is currently the largest and most viable council in the Building Industry Association of Southern California (BIASC). The council was established in the late 60’s to enhance the sales and marketing capabilities and reputation of those who represent the BIA. The GSMC is dedicated to developing a higher level of professionalism in the general membership through education and the interchange of ideas. The GSMC’s governing body consists of a board of directors comprised builders, associates and suppliers. The GSMC is committed to education, programs, membership, awards and community service.
