Shawn Hellwege

Shawn Hellwege is a UI/UX Developer at biBERK, a Berkshire Hathaway Company, specializing in creating engaging user experiences since July 2023. Previously, Shawn served as a Senior Frontend Developer at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln from March 2019 to September 2023, managing admissions sites viewed by tens of thousands of students. Prior experience includes roles as a Web Developer at Assurity Life and Lincoln Journal Star, and a Web Team Leader at Nebraska Transportation Center UNL, where Shawn led a team in website development and server maintenance. Shawn's earlier positions include a Database Guru at Firespring, a New Media Specialist back at the University, and a Client Service Analyst at Fiserv, along with a fundraising campaign role at Wayne State College. Shawn holds multiple degrees from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, including a Master of Arts in Integrated Media Communications, a Masters Certificate in Public Relations and Social Media, and a Master of Education in Instructional Technology, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Computer Information Systems from Wayne State College.
