Christy Ting

Christy Ting has a diverse and extensive work experience. Christy currently holds the position of Content Production Director at Bible Study Fellowship, starting in March 2022.

Prior to this, Christy worked at Generation from 2017 to 2022. Christy held multiple roles including Global Curriculum and Instruction Lead, the Americas from January 2020 to March 2022, where they supported global and country teams in maintaining a portfolio of education to employment programs and developed curricula. From July 2019 to January 2020, they served as Global Design Manager, leading a team to develop industry-specific training programs in 13 countries. Early in their tenure at Generation, from July 2017 to July 2019, they were a Global Curriculum Designer, responsible for designing and writing program materials for youth employment programs in multiple countries.

In 2018, Christy briefly worked at The Rafiki Foundation, Inc. as a Curriculum Designer from May to August.

Prior to that, they worked as an Educational Consultant for Professional Development from September 2016 to May 2018. In this role, they designed and taught custom professional development sessions for private schools in Northern Virginia.

From 2010 to 2017, Christy worked at Trinity Christian School of Fairfax as an Upper School Teacher. Christy designed curriculum as the lead teacher for 8th grade Civics and Government and also played a key role in department accreditation efforts and curriculum alignment.

During their time at Patrick Henry College, from August 2015 to May 2016, they served as an Adjunct Professor.

Christy Ting completed their education in a systematic order. Christy first earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Classical Liberal Arts/Education from Patrick Henry College, which they attended from 2006 to 2010. Following this, they pursued higher education and obtained a Master of Arts degree specializing in teaching American history and government from Ashland University. Christy attended Ashland University from 2012 to 2015. In addition to their formal education, Christy Ting has also obtained several sailing certifications from the American Sailing Association in 2019. Christy has completed the ASA 101 Basic Keelboat Sailing, ASA 103 Basic Coastal Cruising, ASA 104 Bareboat Cruising, and ASA 114 Cruising Catamaran certifications.
