International Controller at Bible Study Fellowship

Jacob Thomas has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Jacob started their career in 2001 as an RF Engineer at Agilent Technologies, where they interacted with customers and sales professionals to develop test plans and surveys. In 2004, they worked at Skypass Travel as a General Accountant, performing bank reconciliation and preparing financial statements. Jacob then joined Verizon in 2004 as a Revenue Specialist-FP&A, quantifying and analyzing monthly P&L/Volume variances and administering the Sales Incentive Compensation Program. In 2008, Jacob joined Raytheon as a Principal Cost Accountant, streamlining cost allocation exercises and handling ethics cases. Since 2016, they have been with Bible Study Fellowship as the International Controller, overseeing foreign classes, coordinating with overseas accounting personnel, and developing international policies and procedures.

Jacob Thomas has pursued higher education in the field of Electrical Engineering at The University of Texas at Dallas. Jacob holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) from this institution. Additionally, Jacob has obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a focus on Finance, Operations, and International Business from the Naveen Jindal School of Management at UT Dallas. Jacob has also earned a Master of Science (MS) degree in Accounting from the same school. In October 2019, Jacob obtained a certification in "How to Use LinkedIn Learning" from LinkedIn.
