Sandra Eerens currently serves as the Coordinator of Volunteer Staff and Front Office at Biblionet Groningen since January 2025. Prior to this role, Sandra worked as a Pedagogical Educational Professional at Primenius from October 2023 to December 2024, and as a pedagogical coach and policy officer at KiWi Kinderopvang Winschoten from February 2020 to May 2023. Sandra has extensive experience in child care, having worked as a pedagogical employee at Kinderopvang KiWi from August 1999 to May 2023. Additionally, from August 2016 to July 2021, Sandra was a handball trainer and coach at Blue Stars, leveraging expertise in both sports and pedagogical practices. Earlier professional experience includes serving as a youth club leader for the Protestant Church in Winschoten from August 2010 to June 2015. Sandra holds an Ad PEP degree in Pedagogical Educational Professional from Hanze University (2017-2019) and a degree in Agogic Work/Pedagogical Work from de Clinck (1992-1995).

De Groningse bibliotheken zijn verenigd in netwerkorganisatie Biblionet Groningen. In de ruim 40 bibliotheken in de provincie Groningen werken zo'n 200 medewerkers die worden bijgestaan door ruim 400 vrijwilligers. Bij het service- en kenniscentrum, dat de vestigingen ondersteunt met producten, diensten en advies, werken ongeveer 60 mensen.
