Mieke Franssen

Mieke Franssen is a seasoned professional actively engaged in various leadership roles across cultural and community-focused organizations. Currently serving as Manager Vestigingen at Bibliotheek Utrecht since April 2023 and a member of the board at Utrecht Marketing since June 2021, Mieke also contributes to the national network LinC at Utrecht University. Previous positions include Programmamanager Mens & Maatschappij at VSBfonds from May 2019 to April 2023 and Directeur-bestuurder at Jongeren Cultuurhuis Kanaleneiland for over a decade. Mieke's experience extends to educational roles at HU University of Applied Sciences Utrecht and as a project coordinator at Cultuur19. Mieke holds multiple degrees, including a Bachelor in Culturele en Maatschappelijke Vorming from HU University of Applied Sciences Utrecht and a recent certification in Bestuur & Toezicht.
