Nick Salmon has extensive work experience in various leadership roles. Nick is currently the Chief Operating Officer at BibliU, starting in 2022. Prior to that, they worked at KidsLoop Co., Ltd. as the SVP Global Operations, where they led global operations teams and facilitated the implementation and customer success of a software product. Nick also served as the VP Operations & Chief of Staff at KidsLoop Co., Ltd. In 2020, they were the Head of Strategic Delivery and Operations - Tree of Life Genomics at Wellcome Sanger Institute, responsible for developing the necessary systems and teams for the genomics program. Before that, they held senior positions at Arm, leading digital transformation programs and driving delivery and Agile transformation. Nick began their career at the UK Ministry of Defence in various Fast Stream and leadership roles. Nick also worked as a Post-Doctoral Fellow in Developmental Genetics at the University of California, San Francisco.

Nick Salmon completed their education at the University of Leeds. Nick obtained a Bachelor of Science degree (BSc) in Genetics from 1998 to 2001. Later, they pursued a PhD in Developmental control of gene expression from 2001 to 2004. In addition to their academic qualifications, Nick has also obtained several certifications. In 2009, they achieved the APMP (APM Project Management Qualification) from the Association for Project Management. In 2014, they obtained the ITIL Foundation certification from THE BRITISH COMPUTER SOCIETY. In 2016, they earned the Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification from The Knowledge Academy. Furthermore, in 2016, they completed the Leading Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe 4.0 Agilist) certification from Scaled Agile, Inc. Finally, in 2017, they obtained the Scaled Agile (SAFe) Program Consultant - SPC 4.0 certification, also from Scaled Agile, Inc.
