David Carlson

David Carlson is an experienced logistics and operations professional currently serving as the Director of Logistics & Customer Operations at BIC, where responsibilities include leading North American business operations for Stationery, Lighters, and Shavers. Prior to this, David was the Head of Logistics at BYK Additives & Instruments, overseeing a $42 million budget and a large team within a $1 billion global manufacturing environment. Previous roles include Director of Global Distribution at Addivant, Senior Expert in Global Business Process Optimization at BASF, and Director of Transportation at American Standard Brands, among others. David holds a BS in Marine Transportation and Business Administration from State University of New York Maritime College and a Customs Brokerage certificate from the World Trade Institute.
