Elham Gharakhani

Elham Gharakhani has over 20 years of experience in the biopharmaceutical industry. Elham began their career in 1999 as an ELISA Specialist at Oncogene Research Products. In 2000, they joined Stryker as a Research Associate where they conducted analyses of proteins and other biomaterials using analytical chemistry and molecular biology techniques. In 2004, they became an Associate Scientist III at Biogen, where they managed CROs to transfer and validate assays to support bioanalytical testing for preclinical and clinical trials. In 2016, they joined Novartis Institutes for BioMedical Research (NIBR) as a Translational Project Manager, where they implemented the biomarker strategy for clinical trials by providing project and vendor management support. In 2020, they joined Bicara Therapeutics as an Associate Director, Clinical and Biomarker Operations and a Senior Clinical Project Manager.

Elham Gharakhani holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Biology from Rivier University. Additionally, they have obtained a certification in Biotechnology Project Management from MassBioEd.
