Abbie Susie

Abbie Susie began their work experience in 2002 as an HCBS Assistant at Mid-Step Services, Inc. Abbie then moved on to Heartland Counseling Services in 2006, where they worked as an Emergency Community Support Services staff member until 2008. From 2008 to 2009, Abbie served as a Mentor Coordinator at Big Brothers Big Sisters of Siouxland before being promoted to Program Director from 2009 to 2014. In 2014, Abbie joined Bickford Senior Living as a Community Relations Director. Abbie transitioned to a new role in 2015 as an MSW Care Coordinator at UnityPoint Health - St. Luke's, where they worked until 2017.

Abbie Susie successfully completed their Bachelor's degree in Social Work from the University of South Dakota in the years of 2002 to 2006. Following this, they pursued further education and obtained their Master's degree in Social Work from the University of Iowa from 2008 to 2011. These experiences in their education have equipped Susie with a strong foundation and expertise in the field of Social Work.
