Edmund Yap

Edmund Yap has extensive work experience in the field of biosciences sales and management. Edmund is currently serving as the Managing Director and Director of Sales, Applications & Support Biosciences Asia Pacific at BICO since October 2021. Prior to that, they were the Senior Sales Manager Asia Pacific at the same company from January 2021 to October 2021. Edmund also worked as the Sales Manager Asia Pacific at BICO from July 2019 to January 2021.

Before joining BICO, Yap held the position of Managing Director and Director of Sales, Applications & Support Biosciences Asia Pacific at both DISPENDIX and CYTENA from July 2019. Edmund also worked at Essen BioScience and Sartorius Stedim Biotech as Sales South East Asia from November 2016 to June 2019.

Yap began their career as a Business Manager at Biomed Diagnostics Pte Ltd from January 2013 to November 2016, where they were responsible for developing and executing regional strategies and tactics, leading sales and marketing teams, and managing various global stakeholder and principal collaborations.

Prior to that, they worked as a Sole Proprietor Entrepreneur from January 2011 to December 2012 and as a Sales and Marketing Manager at Cover Looks Academy and Studio from January 2010 to December 2011.

Edmund Yap pursued their education in a chronological order, starting in 2007 when they attended Temasek Polytechnic. Edmund completed their Diploma with Distinction in Biomedical Informatics and Engineering in 2009.

Subsequently, from 2011 to 2013, Edmund attended the National University of Singapore. There, they earned a Bachelor's Degree in Life Science with a focus on Biological Science.

Additionally, they obtained a certification known as the Bsc Degree from the National University of Singapore, although the specific month and year of acquisition are not provided.
